Paris Photo 2025 Seen by Andy Picci
Photography & AI Andy Picci
This November, Paris Photo 2025 brings its 28ᵗʰ edition back to the glass-roofed Grand Palais. Andy Picci reimagines the fair’s nature landscapes into moving, breathing visions beyond their existence as static photos.
“I’ve always liked the idea that photographs can act as an open window to another place in space-time. Yet, with the number of images we are confronted with on a daily basis, it becomes challenging to value these alternate realities. Especially in a context like Paris Photo, where the density of images can make them blur into one another.
But if you stop in front of a photograph and truly look at it (and I mean really look at it), something shifts. You begin to notice subtle illusions of movement, vibrations, the sensation that time is happening inside the picture. That’s where this enhanced photo-report takes its inspiration.
By animating skies and gentle waves, I invite you to pause. To take the time. To notice the image breathing. To feel time passing.”
