Exhibition Stone Island
Stone Island turned Milan into a lab-like runway with its latest Prototype Research_Series 09 exhibition, presenting more than 100 uniquely hued, hand-colored knit hooded cardigans that push the boundaries of material innovation. For the first time in the series’ decade-long history, the spotlight fell on knitwear transformed through a groundbreaking air-blown lamination process — a reversible textile that reimagines knit as high-performance outerwear. Presented as a special installation by Ken-Tonio Yamamoto during Milan Fashion Week, the project highlights the brand’s ongoing commitment to experimentation and forward-thinking design.
