Cristina Stolhe explores materials and movement through Olympic Spanish figure skater, Sara Hurtado. Her photographs deliberately evoke a strangely haunting quality through deep shadows, where Sara is seen emerging—in ripped tights, and a black figure skating dress with cut-outs. Her movements, along with her blood, sweat, and tears, swell beyond the frame.
