Can you describe your brand in 5 words?

Whimsical, heartfelt, otherworldly, charming, and dreamy.

Who do you design for?

I design for fairies, elves, and magical beings. For the little whispering creatures that lay in beds made of tree trunks under the moonlit sky.

I design for myself, in the present and in the future—when I have lots of wrinkles. I design for baby rabbits that dig up holes in a mossy, mushroom-covered forest.

I design for every movie that has made me feel like the earth is a magical planet to live on. I design for infinite galaxies and for those who live beyond our own realm.

What is your creative process?

My creative process depends very much on my senses and subconscious. When creating my pieces, I often get inspired by storytelling. I love beads that visually hold meaning and symbolize something beyond a physical object. I create poems with my jewellery. Every bead that's carefully placed dances with the ones that surround it. That is why I strive to make all of my jewellery pieces one-of-a-kind and unique; they each hold a special message and energy force. The process of creating itself is extremely magical and deeply-rooted in a serene stream of consciousness.

How do you source your materials?

Due to my background as an artist, I strive to work with independent creatives around the globe who are learning to perfect their craft. I love when you can actually see the artist's hand in the final product. Not unlike that process, many of my glass-beads embody this charming factor: It makes every piece unique. Collaboration is a huge part of Beepy Bella and has been a catalyst to our own work and growth. Being a young, eco-conscious person, I have also made sustainability a focus for our material sourcing. The packaging we use is compostable. And, I look for vintage silver charms and often incorporate handcrafted deadstock materials.

Name 3 other jewellery artists that you're interested in these days:

I love Millie Savage, her stuff is so cool and unique.
Morgan Thomas, from Yam NYC, is also super talented.
Last, but definitely not least, I love Jameel Mohammed from Khiry - their 3D graphics are awesome!

If Beepy Bella was a song, which one would it be?

Without a doubt, Beepy Bella is the album Plantasia by Mort Garson. I'm obsessed with that soundtrack!

A woman?

I would hope that Beepy Bella could be as magical and impactful of an artist as Ana Mendieta.

A cartoon character?

There are so many cartoon characters I resonate with. If I had to choose, Beepy Bella would be Arietty or Nausicaä (from Studio Ghibli).
