What does the word « Novembre » remind you of?
Edible candied flowers, the colour lilac, and classy late scorpios, they’re more hallow than shallow. (My birthday’s during Halloween so I’m more basic poundshop Scorpio)
Who else do you know from this cast and why?
Precious Okoyomon — we met rolling down a hill one July in Arles, then walked by circus caravans by night; and it’s been upwards ever since. Some encounters skew topology and generate different gravities.
What’s your next project?
A one man play, where I’ll playing 8 characters and singing Alicia Keys intermittently. A black queer reimagining of a 1992 film set in a hotel room. An installation anchored on 6 minutes I spent on a tanning bed near Covent Garden — it was disturbingly relaxing.
Is there a charity or cause you want us to highlight?
INFINITEFXX Congo @infinitefxxlive 🇨🇩🇬🇧— a project to build an artist residency in Congo by — that’s sort of a living artwork and production space — think Real World Kinshasa meets the zany ambition of Christoph Schlingensief’s Opera House project — only more homegrown and soulful.
Sambol Foundation @sambolfoundation 🇱🇰🇨🇭— an amazing initiative between Zurich and Matara Sri Lanka for victims of trauma of all sizes @pereraelsewhere put me on to. The Sambol Safe-Village is expected to be realized by the end of 2025 on a large site in the south of the island with its own school, therapy centres, workshops, playground and individually adjustable shelters, depending on the size of the family. Trauma-free futures for all — sounds like utopia in the making to me!

I'm gonna be in the next Jean Sébastien Chauvin movie with Erwan Kepoa Fale, very excited about this project.

What does the word « Novembre » remind you of?
I see November as a magazine that reflects the art of high fashion style in everyday life experiences. For me, November is also the season to migrate to the warm part of our planet.
Who else do you know from this cast and why?
I didn’t know anyone from the cast, in my defence: I’m an outsider who just arrived in Paris after half a year in Thailand. But I do know Florence because Jean Paul Gaultier is one of my true loves, and Natasha is known for her outstanding style performance. Can you imagine how thrilled I was when Natasha chose a look for me that reminded me of that iconic Gaultier bra he gave to Madonna?
What’s your next project?
Thank you for this question! Actually, I am presenting myself as a songwriter and singer for the very first time. So, hi, my name is Masha LA, and I’m singing, but not alone — I have two talented guys helping me make the music. One is a young and incredibly talented rap artist, Saint Cr1st, who is the author of the music, and our great star sound producer, Ilya Baramia.
Is there a charity or cause you want us to highlight?
I’m supporting Ukrainian refugees, Fem Anti-War Resistance, ACF, and TV Rain. The mere fact of these donations is enough to get me imprisoned in my country, and I’m not very smart for saying this here and now, but I must not fear.

What does the word « Novembre » remind you of?
Probably the immediate association is that its a 'bridge' time, for sure between seasons & also heightened mutability between forms and archetypes (i.e. november being largely home to sagittarius — half human, half animal, the image of the hunter, the archer, etc.) it has a really specific emotional tone, something in feeling the premonition of the winter coming.
Who else do you know from this cast and why?
I know Nadia as a friend and we acted together in the film 'Best Secret Place.' I know Angel also because I saw the incredible documentary about her… later on, we worked together intensively and she gave a legendary performance in the opera i co-created and directed 'Inanna’s Descent'.
What’s your next project?
(At least) Four collaborative albums with various friends that are in various stages of 'almost finished'. Some sculptures and performances with my brother Paul Hance. Hopefully touring a lot more. Making perfume in my spare time :)

I adore November in Paris. Cold, rainy, fresh air. What can be better after hot summer during time of climate change?
What’s your next project?
I continue to work with my favorite project: 'Parisian Elegance' and collect élégant hats of XX Century. Almost all hats which I use for photoshoots are from my Private Parisian Collection.
Is there a charity or cause you want us to highlight?
This year I organized my first exposition of my hat collection, this time it was hats from plumes. It was organized for charity to collect for an NGO who helps for Ukrainian refugees from war. We collected 2000 euro to made sleeping bags for them.

What does the word « Novembre » remind you of?
Good music, good sex & la raclette. Also men making promises they will not keep. *laughs* Actually it is both of my parents' birth month — it’s also Morocco’s (where I’m from ) independence month. It’s always been a heavily emotionally-charged month for me because I feel like there’s something very intense & melancholic energetically about Novembre. I like it though. I think it’s magical and nostalgic and that’s great for writing songs and getting inspired.
Who else do you know from this cast and why?
I knew most of the cast before because Dourane made the cast and she’s an angel and I only hang out with angels!
What’s your next project?
I’m currently working on my most ambitious music video and song yet while preparing my debut album or mixtape or whatever you want to call it. It’s so much more than that to me. I feel like my whole life has been leading up to this project.
Is there a charity or cause you want us to highlight?
Considering the current climate I think we need more unity than ever. I would like to highlight both le FLIRT & Urgence Palestine who have been relentlessly fighting for either our trans or Palestinian sisters and brothers respectively.

Who else do you know from this cast and why?
I was so happy to do this with my favourite Tatah’s: Simone Thiébaut & Vava Dudu, literally my besties. Felt so good and safe to work with Dourane who casted us, I have painted her sweet soul in the past. Got to meet great artists I’ve admiring from afare such as Lala Rami and Nadia! I know people cause I paint them… or do I paint them because I know them? I don’t know anymore. This question is too existential!
What’s your next project?
I can’t wait to finish all these paintings. They will be the end of me, seriously. I’m preparing a duo show in Copenhagen this August for the Enter Art fair, with my sister Noah Umur Kamber. The show is called Mothers and Monster… I identify with both! Besides my mother is definitely a monster… how is your mother?

I support La Timmy for sheltering exiled and isolated minors and anything I can against the ongoing genocides, from boycotting to sending money, to speaking out.

I'm doing new ding with my band LA CHATTE and some new painting, drawing, embroideries, clothes, unique pieces ….

What does the word « Novembre » remind you of?
I am Italian, so the word 'Novembre' reminds me of my favourite month and season of the year, that is autumn. More than that it's the aesthetic surrounding the year that gently dies and the excitement for the festive season coming. Novembre is the only moment of the year where I feel free to enjoy melancholia in peace. I find it so poetic.

What’s your next project?
I am the PR & Heritage Manager at Vivienne Westwood and I am deeply in love with my job and the brand. We are currently working on many exciting projects launching this fall and I can't wait for you to see them!
Is there a charity or cause you want us to highlight?
I would love to include a link to SOS Homophobie. In the current climate, it feels especially important to protect our trans siblings and to support an organization that defends the rights of LGBTQIA+ people as a whole. It’s more important than ever to stand together — protect your dolls!
